And can disgust be a source of hope?<\/span><\/i><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"><br \/><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Dr. Aino-Kaisa Koistinen from the Monster Network discusses all things disgusting with Doctoral researcher Heidi\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Kosonen<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0and PhD, Postdoctoral researcher Susanne\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Yl\u00f6nen<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0(both from the Department of Music, Art and Culture Studies, University of\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, Finland), organizers of the Disgust Network. The topics range from period blood to eating insects. But what is that disgusting drinking noise? We wonder why it is there\u2026<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0This podcast has been made in collaboration with\u00a0<\/span><b><span lang=\"en-US\">The Disgust Network<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0((<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jyu.fi\/hytk\/fi\/tutkimus\/tutkimusverkostot\/disgust\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/www.jyu.fi\/hytk\/fi\/tutkimus\/tutkimusverkostot\/disgust<\/a>), a multi-disciplinary network for the study of disgust from the perspectives of humanities. The network was established in November 2018, and has its base at the University\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0department of Music, Art and Culture.
