However, our discussion is equally relevant in female dominated environments where male diversity is a must and many others where diversity of any kind is essential in maximising effectiveness and innovation.&nbsp; Norske Shell and NATO&#8217;s Joint Warfare Centre are well known employers here in Stavanger.&nbsp; Being linked to the oil\/energy industry and NATO\/military, these are both organisations that have been traditionally male dominated. But, in what ways can diversity, and, more specifically gender diversity, positively impact these organisations? What risks are posed by a lack of gender diversity? What can we learn from each other about how to tackle this, and, importantly, are we seeing and stimulating changes both in mindset and in concrete actions? In this podcast Sarah Denieul from the Joint Warfare Centre and Mark Wildon from Norske Shell talk with Sarah Hean, University of Stavanger about strategies and challenges to achieve gender diversity. They question whether an organisation becomes a \u201cself licking lollipop\u201d if a gender perspective is not brought to the table.&nbsp; In other words, that without diversity, organisations are in danger of following an unchallenged and stagnant path with no purpose or benefit other than to sustain the status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med den kommende Kvinnedagen den 8. mars, fokuserer vi i denne podcasten p\u00e5 kvinnelig representasjon i tradisjonelt mannsdominerte omr\u00e5der.
