Functional materials for the green shift

In the fourth episode, Shibl Gill talks about key functional materials for the green shift, such as metal organic frameworks, battery materials and hydrogen storage materials with four scientist based at the University of Stavanger. Associate professors Olena Zavorotynska, Sachin Chavan and Jelena Popovic-Neuber as well as Postdoc Sofia Bercha answer questions such as: What is a functional material? how do you design it? how do you know what it can do?  what is the long-term strategy in materials science to tackle one of the biggest modern issues, the climate crisis.
