Associate professors Olena Zavorotynska, Sachin Chavan and Jelena Popovic-Neuber as well as Postdoc Sofia Bercha answer questions such as: What is a functional material? how do you design it? how do you know what it can do? what is the long-term strategy in materials science to tackle one of the biggest modern issues, the climate crisis.
